The park has many places. This is the gateway to the Jackie O Reservoir, estuary and bridal path. Very busy location for running and bicycle on the roadway.
Beautiful overlook! The view is stunning and it’s usually not too crowded. Very peaceful and nice escape from the sound of the city.

What a fascinating part of New York history and infrastructure
Beautiful entrance to Central Park West. Just down the street from the Guggenheim. This entrance has direct access to the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis reservoir. The workmanship and beauty of Central Park is evident here. Worth the visit!

Went to visit friend who lives in penthouse around there. Lovely night so we all just walked around the area. It was amazing to me...
My 1st time just strolling the streets of NYC. I'm from SoCal & having a heatwave at home. Lovely time for me to be in NY.
Mostly a rest stop for runners and bikers looking for water and shade. Oh, and there's the Fred Lebow statue too. Good entry spot for the reservoir.
